100% Casein Protein: Slow Digestive Protein

Sometimes slower is better - especially when it comes to the rate of protein digestion. While rapid protein absorption is desirable immediately before or after exercise, delayed release is probably more beneficial throughout the remainder of the day.

Casein proteins are pH sensitive and gel in the acidic environment of the stomach. As a result, it can take more than twice as long for caseins to be broken-down into their amino acid subcomponents than whey and other proteins. Flavor is great. Excellent product. I used one scoop of this with a scoop of a blend for the velocity diet. Fills you up more than any other kind of protein.

I'm very picky about taste, and this really does taste amazing. It has the taste and texture of instant vanilla pudding, in the blender at least. I haven't tried it in a shaker cup yet. I'm very impressed!

I'm not sure why so many people are complaining about the taste of the Vanilla Casein, I like it (tastes a lot better than the standard ON Whey vanilla.) A little pricey now, but worth it for use before bed.

This is the only 100% casein product available at this site. It tastes excellent, whether you like Chocolate or Vanilla. It could be a little bit cheaper.

It can be tricky to mix like all casein, but using a milk-frother is a good trick. The flavour is great even with water, and using milk + extra cocoa powder is a treat. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Directions:
