I had stopped using it for 6-8 weeks, and although my diet wasnt the best i did gain 6-8 lbs during that time frame. I have been back on it for almost 2 weeks and with my diet in check i have lost about 3 pounds, am leaner and have more energy than before. Also since i am trying to cut down a little bit more, i have had a nice little side effect of my appetite not being all to high, it might be because this stuff is so awful, i still take it without capping. I cannot compare to other similar products, but this is very effective and by far the cheapest. I am anticipating my 150g to last at the very least 3 months and probaly more. Yoou can't beat that for 30 dollars. 5-stars By: ToddReview posted on: Fri Jun 19 11:33:02 -0400 2009 I find this to be more effective, and easier on the pocket than R-ALA for glucose management and partitioning. I would have to back everyone else that says this tastes awful though. I have never felt the need to cap any powders before, and believe me I have taken some vile tasting powder/water concoctions. That being said, 1/4 teaspoon of YG in a full shaker is still nearly intolerable with an aftertaste that will linger for hours. No amount of brushing or mouthwash will rid you of this either. Another thing I haven't seen anyone comment on: this stuff stains bad. Once you are done capping (which I would say is a must with this product) immediately clean your countertop or work area. As to the peculiar intestinal problems some suffer: if you read up on berberine you will notice that while it has interesting nutrient shuttling properties in the upper GI tract, it has the opposite effect in the lower GI tract. Not nescessarily bad, but you will likely suffer a little the first couple days while your body adjusts. Real men dont cap! This stuff is pretty bad, but it the aftertaste that wont go away. I wanted to add what this actually tastes like, its like you ground up some penicilin or something and took it straight. as bad as it tastes i am still going to take it straight! Tastes like Hell. If you want to know how it works, do 50 push ups every hour so your chest stays pumped all day. This stuff works great and the taste is worth the effects. I personally recommend you take this with milk, and I personally dare you or one of your friends to take this sublingually as this potent concoction is more than you can handle. I dose the YG at 500 mgs three times per day. I have noticed a dramatic increase in body temperature that is more powerful than any fatburner that I have tried. I am on a bulk and I am still losing weight around my belly. All I got to say is this stuff is sweet! Take it on an empty stomach, wait 15 minutes, and you are HUNGRY. Scarf down a load of protein with ~50g of complex carbs and you get an unbelievable pump. Post workout it helps push the carbs/protein into your muscles where you need it the most. Using YG I've lost a good inch off my waste line in the first 2 weeks. This isn't water loss either as I've been sucking down 1-1.5 gallons of water a day for months now. Anyways, it may taste bad, but it works REALLY well. Beautiful cutting agent / strength preserver. |
