Sulbutiamine is an analogue of Vitamin B1. Because it is fat soluble, sulbutiamine is able to pass through the barrier between blood and brain to create thiamin. The brain uses thiamine to manufacture the neurotransmitters Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid, Acetylcholine, and Glutamate. Research suggests that sulbutiamine may be effective for people suffering from asthenia, a health condition where people experience chronic fatigue and muscle weakness. Because it aids energy and performance, sulbutiamine may aid athletes as well. It is legal in all sport governing bodies, including the NCAA, WADA, and the IOC. Not only does it help boost energy, but it also helps to improve focus and memory. Sulbutiamine also enhances mood. By: Frank CReview posted on: Mon Jul 19 20:00:35 -0400 2010 Sulbutiamine is an excellent product if you're looking for energy, feeling alert, stamina, enhancement in attention and focus, etc. It also works as a great mood lifter. My first day I took (2) - 300 mg. doses. At first you feel a surge or rush, but then that fades and immediately feel energized, but a good energy, not jittery. It keeps you going all day and even into the night. A great product for those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I take it first thing in the a.m. with food and then at lunch. I wouldn't take it any later than that because you may have problems falling asleep. Even just 1 morning dose may be enough for you. This is a good product and comes with a small 300 mg. measuring scoop. But the powder does taste very bitter and strong. But I have found that green tea neutralizes this bitter and acidic taste. I highly recommend this quality product. Amazing stuff By: PaulaReview posted on: Sat Aug 15 16:08:55 -0400 2009 I put this in capsules to begin with cause the powder tastes horrible, anyway - this s**t is amazing!! Took 500 mg along with piracetam and 1, 3 dimethyelalanine and was able to focus and write papers with no effort. I have ADD and this is a great supplement to help with that! Works best if taken after a meal which had some fat in it. Great Product...HORRIBLE Taste By: BradleyReview posted on: Tue Jun 16 23:10:13 -0400 2009 I love sulbutiamine for concentration, mood and energy. You must cap this powder as it has the absolute worst taste of any bulk powder that I have had (and I've tried a lot!). To say that it tastes like gasoline would be an improvement, it tastes like gasoline on fire doused with horse urine. Great with caffeine and PEA. Also keeps my wit sharp in conversation that involve quick comebacks etc. and keeps mood very positive. I have it with Chocamine in a coffee with cream. Some dietary fat makes it work better for some reason so it compliments my low carb diet well. |
