But the bottle said 1 3 times daily and I had never taken more than 2 at a time. I was out of pain killers and in desperation searching for a way to reduce inflammation and fish oil came up over and over again so I took 3 at once and IT WORKED NO PAIN. I have since found that the fish oil works very well to relieve pain. Much stronger than aspirin but it lasts about the same amount of time, about 3 hours. For inflammation/nerve pain this just might be a miracle worker. Take 3-4 at once and wait 20 minutes. Its not for all types of pain...but give it a shot.
