But the bottle said 1 3 times daily and I had never taken more than 2 at a time. I was out of pain killers and in desperation searching for a way to reduce inflammation and fish oil came up over and over again so I took 3 at once and IT WORKED NO PAIN. I have since found that the fish oil works very well to relieve pain. Much stronger than aspirin but it lasts about the same amount of time, about 3 hours. For inflammation/nerve pain this just might be a miracle worker. Take 3-4 at once and wait 20 minutes. Its not for all types of pain...but give it a shot. When it arrived, I opened the bottle, only to be immediately hit in the face with a rancid fish smell. I looked at the ingredients, and there is no vitamin E or other preservative. That is 1000 fish oil capsules wasted. Put a preservative in this product, or else there is no way for me to take these with confidence. However having those broken capsules suck as it got fish oil on pretty much all of them and made it reek. Fantastic deal on Omega 3!!!
