I rarely will write a review unless I feel its a product that deserves it. I was a bit skeptical on trying Apple Cinnamon because I usually stick to the standard chocolate and vanilla based flavors. Keep in mind also I mixed this with straight water... I am sure milk will be fantastic! Taste 10/10 - No doubt this stuff blew away my expectations by far. It taste kinda similar to a apple cinnamon muffin :) How easy does it mix? This stuff tastes pretty good but there is waaaaaaaaaaay too much cinnamon in it. I use two scoops in a large bowl of oatmeal. The first day, I tried two scoops of this and the cinnamon taste was way too strong. This morning I tried one scoop of the apple cinnamon with one scoop of the cake batter nutrapro. The cinnamon taste was much more manageable but still too strong. I think that I will have to use a half scoop of this with 1.5 scoops of cake batter/vanilla/chocolate/etc. The apple taste is nice, the consistency is good, and it's all natural, which is great. If they cut the cinnamon content down to about 1/4 or 1/3 of what it is now, this would be the best thing to ever happen to anyone who enjoys protein with oatmeal for breakfast. As it is now, make sure that you have a lot of other flavors to dilute this with and it will still be very good. Great stuff! All were great apple cinnamon being my favorite. i did not feel the cinnamon was to overpowering at all and loved it. this is by far the best tasting and best priced protein around. I hate that they have decided to do away with it as i would have been a customer forever on this stuff. Not sure if others didnt like it or what but i feel nutraplanet made a huge mistake doing away with this line! I found that mixing in a 1:1 ratio Apple Cinnamon/Cinnamon Sticky Bun made a delicious shake. It mixes very well in just water and still tastes great. The strawberry flavor is amazing as well as the apple cinnamon. I prefer not having all the added artificial stuff and I'm not missing a thing. The price is unbeatable as well. |
