GlycoCarn® is a patented nitric oxide synthesizing agent that is far more effective in elevating blood nitric oxide levels than the ordinary arginine-AKG found in most pre-workout powders. Research shows that arginine of itself is NOT an effective way to increase nitric oxide!
In fact, the rate-limiting factor in the production of nitric oxide is not arginine (you have enough arginine in your body already), but a class of enzymes called nitric oxide synthases. GlycoCarn® is a powerful catalyst that converts arginine in your body into nitric oxide. One double-blind clinical study showed that GlycoCarn® increased nitric oxide by 55% greater than placebo.
