Actually I am looking for a product that uses Aspartame, Sucralose, and Acesulfame K. Lets get those tumors a rollin! Acesulfame K Acesulfame Potassium (K) was approved for use by the FDA as a safe artificial sweetener in July, l988. It is a derivative of acetoacetic acid. Unfortunately, several potential problems associated with the use of acesulfame have been raised. They are based largely on animal studies since testing on humans remains limited. The findings showed the following: Acesulfame K stimulates insulin secretion in a dose dependent fashion thereby possibly aggravating reactive hypoglycemia ("low blood sugar attacks"). Acesulfame K apparently produced lung tumors, breast tumors, rare types of tumors of other organs (such as the thymus gland), several forms of leukemia and chronic respiratory disease in several rodent studies, even when less than maximum doses were given. According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest, it was petitioned on August 29, l988 for a stay of approval by the FDA because of "significant doubt" about its safety. Very nice! Mixability is really good, flavor is excellent, and the ingredient profile is spot on for what I was looking for. Price per serving value is also WAY up there. You've got a new customer here! And if "Bob" likes the cafe mocha flavor, I'm going to have to give that one a go next. (Much love, Sinner!) Taste kinda reminds me of the Jamocha Milkshake from Arby's (and I love my jamocha shakes :D). It's definitely a nice change from the run of the mill vanilla or chocolate. ON 100% can't compare to taste , Dymatize also has 40mg of digestive enzymes and ON 100% has 25 mg per scoop. The only whey I tried that tastes Good in plain water! Cafe mocha is unreal I never get bored of the taste. Tastes great in water , milk , water +Oats!!! I've tried many whey protein powders but this one is definately the best tasting one I've tried so far. I am going to try butter toffee next. I highly recommend this product to anyone. Best Blend out there By: FaresReview posted on: Tue Nov 13 16:54:49 -0500 2007 Elite whey is much better than the loved optimum nutrition 100% whey for many reason: Tastes a lot better with strong flavouring unlike ON 100% whey( tastes great with water,milk and/or oats) , has less cholestrol per serving ( a lot less) , and has almost double the amount of digestive enzymes which will help digesting the protein and minimize gas. For all those reasons and the fact that cafe' mocha is unreal in flavour this get my vote for the best quality for the price Not bad but.... I think ON's 100% whey tastes slightly better, but this is a good protein for the money if you're on a smaller budget. I'll be trying other flavors when this one is done. Maybe it's because the last protein I bought was the best tasting protein in the world All The Whey, and before that ON. After I choke down the 10lbs I bought of this crap I'll most likely never buy it again. I usually go with ON, but after tasting this stuff I probably won't ever go back. Simply delicious. Mix it with some coffee splenda and Ice and its better than starbucks! |
