I personally prefer to have in stock strawberry flavor but I like to rotate all the flavors around just to have variety. The one thing I always have liked about syntha-6 is the protein content, even though it is not truly a post workout protein like a whey only protein, it is good for ANYTIME use even at night. Try it for yourself, you won't regret it! A good buy. So I not only bought Syntha-6 because of the numerous and high quality proteins that it contains, but because those who reviewed it said that it tasted good. They were correct. Both Chocolate and Mochaccino tasted great. Now I have never tasted anything as good as Muscle Milk and this is no exception, but I would definitely buy this based on it's nutrient profile. The price is reasonable as well. After the competitions we were given some sample goodies from GNC, a few being BSN products. I wasn't honestly expecting much but I tried the strawberry milk shake Syntha-6 mixed in water and expected to have to force it down, but much to my surprize it actually tasted like a strawberry shake! I very much recomend this stuff to anyone with any health and fitness goals. I experienced absolutly no bloating or cramping as I sometimes do with other powders. I mix this in with a snack in between meals at work to keep my protein load up. It's amazingly tasty, and has a great balance of nutrients. People doc it for it's lack of a # on the amino acids content, but it's patented so they can't be specific. Regardless, I've had no problems with recovery, or muscle growth with this protein. So I comprimise and get both. When we goto workout, she always wants some vanilla Syntha-6 afterwards, so it's definitely got the thumbs up approval. It is far and away the best tasting protein if you are mixing it with water. I recently tried the reformulated (reduced fat, added fiber) Muscle Milk, and Syntha-6 is still superior. Strawberry, Mochaccino, Chocolate, Banana and Vanilla are especially good. Haven't tried Chocolate Mint yet. Cookies & Cream is an excellent rendition of the flavor, but I guess I'm not a huge fan of cookie-flavored beverages. Even with water it actually does taste like a strawberry milk shake. I have tried all of the other flavors as well and all of them are pretty good but strawberry was the best. I recommend the banana for mixing with fruit in a blender even my kids will drink this with some strawberry's or blueberries thrown in. |
