Does it last for 12 hours? Absolutely, and it feels really good the entire time too. For the first two hours or so, I get a really big rush of energy. It's not jittery energy, but it's a noticeable rush of very clean energy. It kicks in and you can definitely feel it, and when it does I just want to be up and getting stuff done, and if there's nothing to do, I'm looking for something to do...not because I'm feeling jittery or anxious, but because I feel a strong sense of motivation to be productive. Love that. After the initial 2 hour burst of energy, you get these smooth bursts of energy at just the right times throughout the day for the next 10 hours. And that starts at about the 3 hour mark. After that initial burst starts to wear off, the next thing I know I'm feeling all happy, energized, talkative and very social. These bursts sneak up on me because I don't even notice the transition from one energy burst to the next. All in all, this does last all day, just like they say. Is it as good as Slim Xtreme? In some ways, it's better (I'll explain below), and in others it's about 70-80% as good...and that's a big hit in my book. Slim FX is better in the sense that I don't have to drink myself drunk at 2am in the morning to fall asleep. Seriously, when I'd take the original SX, I knew I'd be screwed if I didn't have a bottle of red wine to help me come down at night. On this new Slim FX, falling asleep is not a problem at all. It does last for 12 hours, so just make sure you take it at least 12 hours before you go to bed. It's also better in the sense that my appetite doesn't feel totally nuked to hell. On the original stuff, I had no desire to eat, and no problem going 6 hours without eating. Obviously that's not healthy, nor is it good for bodybuilding goals. On Slim FX, I don't really notice myself craving food or getting hungry, but if I have to eat, I can chow down a meal. So this really helps me stick to eating my 6 small meals throughout the day with ease. Other Impressions I didn't take SX and I won't take Slim FX to lose weight....sorry, not much help on this aspect. Rather, I take it because I just feel like Slim FX makes ME a better ME. I'm more motivated throughout the day, my mind is more engaged with whatever I have to do, when I'm focused on something I can think much more clearly about the topic, the concentration is wonderful, I feel more creative, and to me, that makes this product a home run. Now, the original did this too, and while Slim FX isn't 100% identical in this category (I'd say it's about 80% as good), it's still 100x better than anything else I've tried since. As for the energy, again, it's about 75-80% of the original, but it feels very good, very smooth, very refined, and it just the right amount I need at the right times throughout the day. So cheers to AX for making such an amazing product that as I said above, helps me feel like a better version of me. I would compare its effects to that of a pharmaceutical grade quality. It produces the same feelings I personally have had from psychostimulants, I gave a capsule to a buddy of mine who said the same thing. The energy on this product is great, it's strong but very clean and non jittery, I wouldn't recomend starting off with two caps even if you can handle your stims. My appetite is decently surpised but my resistance to want to give in to cravings is great while this stuff is in full effect. For the initial 6 hours or so I could go entirely with out eating if that were the best decision, but do 4 to 8 small meals and you will eat less for sure. I have a tendancy to talk a lot while taking SFX hence my rambling review....So short and sweet review energy: 10/10 appetite: 8/10 focus, mental clarity: 12/10 lol its really good (Euphoric) All in all AX hits every aspect of what they claim the product can do, as far as wieght loss I havn't taken it long enough yet, but my body temp goes up about 10 min after taking it and my palms sweat so I am exspecting good things to come, NICE JOB AX Not near as good as original SFX By: RobertReview posted on: Sun Apr 22 11:50:35 -0400 2012 I loved the original. It was the most awesome fat burner I have encountered in my 15 years bodybuilding. I was extremely disappointed when the original was discontinued, then excited when hearing a new version was coming that "was better". Well, IMO it isn't even close. The original killed my appetite to the point I had to force myself to eat, this version did nothing. The original put me in a good mood, this effected nothing. The original helped me drops 5 lbs in a week, the entire bottle of the new version did nothing. All I experienced with the new version was a mild caffeine effect. I was disappointed beyond belief. I don't know if I ever saw a product go from total kick ass to total flop between versions so fast. It was the best OTC weight loss pill ever! 12 hours straight jitter free energy and killed my appetite. Literally had to force myself to eat. Forget ephedra forget ECA stack…forget all that. SX bleww them out of the water. But let’s move on…it was banned. I was excited to see something from AX back with the same claim. So I purchased Slim FX. I’m on my 7th day now. 1-3 Day: 1 Pill: Result. Nothing at no jump no jitters…nothing. Appetite was in full effect. I ate like normal. 4-7 Day: 2 pills first thing in the morning empty stomach. Better energy, no appetite suppressant at all. Took the pill 8am by 12pm there was no energy left…I was falling asleep. I will continue to use it for another week or so…if nothing happens then I’ll stick with OEP. Will update a review if I see better results, but so far I’m disappointed…it’s an insult to SX. And this new product has a bit of the same physiological effects: appetite suppression, raising blood pressure, etc. but it is definitely lacking the amph/modafinil tone, which, for me, gave an interesting effect. Won't be using this one, but for newcomers it might give a boost in the right direction. |
