Three months later my second 5 pounder looked, tasted, and mixed differently. I thought I may have gotten a bad batch, it also came in a pouch instead of tub. It could have been a fluke but the next batch was more of the same. I don't think I'll purchase AlltheWhey again. Too bad cause the price is great. Change in source? By: danielReview posted on: Mon Jun 15 13:26:01 -0400 2009 I've gone through 3 bottles of this, 1st was cup cake batter, loved the flavor, tasted like actual cup cakes, and then tried the much talked about cinnamon bun, which was great as well. Then went back to the cupcake batter flavor, and there was definately a big change in the ingredients... It tasted nothing like the first jug, much worse, and on top of the consistancy being slightly grainy, the protein itself produced a thick foam when mixed with just water, and all of these being a new development compared to the first batch. Who knows whats going on, but until I find out confirmation from some one else, I am switching to something else. Nothing Spectacular By: TonyReview posted on: Thu Apr 30 11:03:02 -0400 2009 Based on reviews, I was expecting a flavor that rivaled Muscle Milk. Sadly, the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup didn't come close. It's a good value, but I'd probably go with ON if I wanted a value-priced whey, as they have the added benefit of Aminogen. ATW doesn't have this, and trust me...you'll notice the difference. A very good, affordable whey protein!! By: BrandonReview posted on: Mon Dec 28 10:36:08 -0500 2009 I used to use Optimum Nutrition Whey Gold Standard, and even before when it was called Optimum 100% whey protein, and I thought that was as good as it got in terms of taste and mixability for a decent price. I was so wrong! Every since I tried ATW Cinnamon Bun, I've never went anywhere else for protein. At 30$ for 80 servings, that is less than $0.50 per single serving shake, and a single serving with milk fills me up!!! Also, the taste is incredible, and I find that both the Isolate and the Blend mix very well, and taste pretty similar. The isolate is a little better for your digestive system and is absorbed a little faster in your system, but they are both great choices! I am extremely satisfied with this protein, and trust me, I've tried them all. Everything from BSN, Gaspari, Optimum, Scivation, Dymatize, Cytosport (Muscle Milk), you name it, I've used it, and I'm sticking with the All The Whey. You simply can not beat it. |
