Coleus Forskohlii is an Ayurvedic herb that has shown to have a host of beneficial effects to anyone looking to better their health. Forskohlii is of interest to health enthusiasts as it has been shown to increase lean muscle mass while simultaneously decreasing levels of body fat.

In part, Forskohlii is able to exert these effects by activating an enzyme called adenylate cyclase, which in turn tells your body to increase levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate, also known as cAMP. cAMP is a basically messenger molecule that signals the body to mobilize fat from fat cells. Once fat cells have the signal to release their contents for energy, fat enters the bloodstream where it is burned as fuel, which of course leads to a drop in body fat levels.

A patented form of Forskohlii was also shown to increase lean body mass by about eight pounds over a 12 week period with no changes in diet or exercise. It also improved testosterone levels as indicated by study researchers.

Although this study was carried out under the producer of the patented form of Forskohlii, it shows what may be possible with this wonder herb!
