This protein is much lighter to drink, the flavor is fantastic, and the results I'm getting with this is much better than with ON Casein (I say this, cause I just changed Shotgun to Jack3d, and my muscles are much more bloated!). UP 2.0 mixes well, has a fantastic taste, and an excellent profile for an MRP sort of product. In essence, this product is a superior version of the well-known "Muscle Milk," a good product in its own, but one with inferior ingredients to UP 2.0. Contrary to some opinions, I think the price and ingredient profile are just right for the intentions of such a product. There's no bull in this offering; only top-notch ingredients deliciously expressed at a competitive price. This is a slow acting/fast acting protein mix and having MCT's such as sunflower oil make this a superb protein for night time and as a MRP. The creatine mono is essentially a waste as many other creatine products do a much better job (obviously) and creatine has no place in a protein supplement. Good Taste, Expensive! The ingredient profile isn't worth it compared to prices on similar proteins. It has MCTs, and creatine mono in it, which do nothing but raise the price in the trace amounts that are in the product. I think the company could sell it cheaper if they left out the MCTs and Creatine Mono. The extra ingredients do nothing but increase the price of the product. The only thing this product has going for it really is the taste. Otherwise comparable to other protein in mixability, protein content per serving, price, and ingredient profile it falls short! The container is nice and small which i like but the total amount of protein you get for the price is pretty low. |
