A lot of hype, not so impressed though.. By: ChrisReview posted on: Thu Feb 11 10:23:51 -0500 2010 With all the buzz, I decided to give it a few weeks before purchasing OEP and trying it for myself. I reasoned that if OEP was incredible enough, the reviews would speak for themselves. I figured since it finally hit the "top ten" chart on Nutra and had an incredible 18 reviews, I'd give it a try and see if it measured up to all the hype. Although I was skeptical about the reviews being legitimately satisfied customers, I shelled out 40 bucks and gave it a try. I'm going to attempt to give this product a semi-thorough review in hopes that other customers will be able to determine if this product is worth $30 (since it's on sale now, dah..) or of it's worth sticking to Bronkaid and caffeine tablets (bronkaid found at your local CVS, Rite Aid, or Walgreens behind the pharmacy counter). I'm attempting to remain civil about this product. Since my first instinct is to be an irritated customer because I feel I was decieved by USP's "Inner Circle" cult (their idea of cost-efficient advertisement; the customers that USP has by the balls, gives free product to, or sells to at a reduced price in hopes that customer satisfaction will prove to elevate their reviews) Appetite Suppression: 2 Stars. This is noticable first thing in the morning, approximately 45 minutes after taking OEP at 7:30am, and lasts approximately 3 hours with mild, to almost non-existant appetite suppression. I find that anytime around 10am I'm making several trips to the water-cooler to drink water in order to suppress the desire to snack more than I need should. After each meal, I've also began drinking 16 oz of water to help make up for what OEP lacks in the appetite suppression field. The afternoon (approximately 3pm and beyond) becomes more difficult, even though I take the reccommended additional pill at 2:30. I understand that dieting takes discipline and I've been living the fitness/weightlifting lifestyle for 6 years now. With a little discipline, it's do-able, but OEP is easily beaten out by ECA, Mitotropin, or the late Slim Xtreme (I'm only adding this comparison because I've seen it used freequently. Make no mistake, OEP is NOT a SX replacement by any measure) . Energy: 3 Stars. This is noticable first thing in the morning, throughout the afternoon, until approximately 4 or 5:00 pm. It's not a burst of energy, and it's not incredible. Using ECA as the standard to judge, I still give this 3 stars. It's not as long-lasting as ECA, it isn't quite as pronounced, but there's no huge crash either. Endurance: 4 Stars. This is probably where I feel OEP shines the most. Endurance. OEP has a decent dose of Geranium, and Geranium is known for enhancing oxygen uptake and delivery. Workouts can typically last longer, and cardio feels noticibly less difficult to maintain. Mood Elevation: 1 Star. I can't say I noticed anything in this aspect. A few things to consider. When you average the ratings I gave OEP, it comes out to a 2.5 star rating, so although OEP has it's strong point, it's overall rating coming in at 2.5 stars isn't impressive. To me, this isn't worth $40 dollars, to you, it may be. Second, I have to point out that a great deal of these raving reviews can be found on websites that don't require you to purchase a product before reviewing it. I find this worth mentioning because on websites that require users to actually PURCHASE a product from that particular supplement store before reviewing it on their website, OEP reviews are missing altogether. Final Verdict: At 30 bucks, it might be worth it to try and see if you get better results, however, I couldn't reccommend this product for anything more than $30.00. I hope this review was thorough enough and helps you make a better decision, at least until more legitimate reviews come out. I've been taking for a few days now, and really like it alot. Makes me feel good in the mornings after I take it. I'm not sweating profusely like some of the guys say, but maybe it's different because I'm a girl, idk. Makes me have more drive in my workouts for sure. I can drink a shaker of protein for lunch and it's all I have an appetite for. It's pretty nice that I'm not hungry 24-7. Sleeping is a bit tough though... all in all I have high hopes for this product, and so far it's delivering what I expected. The absolute best ever!!! I Was Facebooking and a friend suggested these to me. She claimed she had lost 15lbs off one bottle, which was perfect cuz I had 1 month to lose the same for a Bridesmaid fitting. I ordered the pills on March 12,2010, and they arrived March 19. Today is April 25,2010 and so far I have lost 22lbs!!!! These pills completely suppress my appetite and give me energy! I don't know anyone else who has used it besides my FB friend, but we have both had success with these pills. Im not on any kind intense day by day diet, just watching out for what I eat. I have been running 1.7 miles in the morning before work and before I go to bed. I have been taking one capsule in the moring and two mid day before each workout. I started OEP weighing 216lbs and now I weigh 213lbs. This product is absolutley amazing. I never thought I could see results this fast. OEP gives you a boost of energy for the day and totally cancels out your appetite. You literally have to FORCE yourself to eat. I've only been using them a day, but the geranamine rush is awesome. I always have trouble using it on its own and getting the proper synergy with caffeine + *insert product here*, but these do quite well. Hunger is down alot as well, though I don't know if thats a placebo or not. I had to force myself to eat dinner because I had only taken in 1200 cals for the day. I can't tell you if it burns fat like the companies long writeup says, but I can say if you buy any other pill for energy alone, switch to these guys. After about 1 month OEP can be considered the top contender for the best fat burner. I've tried Hydroxycut, Lipo 6 Black, ReDefine, and Ripped Fuel. Although I had pretty good results with Lipo 6 and ReDefine, OEP has outdone the others. The pills are small and im surprised such small pills could produce such great results. You defintely feel the thermo effects and sometimes I can feel the body heat and sweat just sitting in a cool room! It has shredded a good amount of body fat without changing my diet. 2 in the AM and 1 in the PM works very well and is by far enough. The energy is crisp and helps when waking up early. I know people may be skeptical about the reported results by others but this is a great product and defintely worth a try. Holy Crap! He tried it first and it said it was nothing special, I decided to run the rest of the bottle. Here is my quick review: Energy is good, but very short lasting. 3 hours seems to be the length before I crashed. It is pretty good in the thermogenic department, sweat pretty good when working out. I love this but I am almost a bit concerned with its safety. Can a person really lose 6 lbs in a week and successfully keep it off? I've been working out and dieting for years but at the beginning of 2011 I decided to step it up because I had gained some weight. I work out 4-6 days a week, doing cardio and lifting, p90x, pilates ect. I switch it up to keep myself interested and my body guessing. I count my calories online and try and maintain a 1250 calorie diet. Doing this alone without oxyelite I lost 3 pounds in 5 weeks. I decided to go to gnc because a friend suggested this product. I'm still working out hard, my workouts are amazing, I do interval training with my cardio and I have seen much inprovement this week. The downside is I force my 1200 calories, this week I have been eating between 700-1000 and no intentially. I don't want to lose muscle so I have been trying to eat losts of protien and still continue to lift. Does anyone have experience with gaining the weight back after discontinuing use? I love this product, it reminds me of "old school" diet pills I dont want to name names, but they are currently off the market. The jitters from the evening dosage is a little over the top ,but, worth it cause it only last about an hour. the sweating is expected and helps burn the fat but the nauseous feeling with the two in the morning lasted all day the first time i took them together. I'd recommend taking them at least 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. apart than take the third dosage 6-8 hrs after the second. I guess I tried so many in the past and none really worked so I gave up. However, my sister gave me a bottle to try them out and told me, "It's like crack in a bottle!" While I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing (lol), OEP is definetely a good thing. I am considerably overweight (220 lbs), which is a lot for a woman. The OEP pills have given me huge energy bursts and I am now able to work out for about 30 minutes each morning and then 45 min to an hour each afternoon when I get home. I have the energy for more, just not the time. Plus, you really do have to make yourself eat. I have not been hungry hardly at all, but just eat small meals because I know you need to do that to be healthy. I agree with Holly about the sleeping at night problem, but I think it is because the Thermogenics make me hot, and I don't sleep well when I am hot. I'm still hungry for 3 meals a day, but its later in the day, and I don't eat snacks in between, which is what really gets me for the weight gain. I'm a student, so when I study, I always had the snack cravings, drinking that Red Bull and eating chips but I don't do that anymore with the OxyE! I didn't really understand it until I picked up a bottle and tried it out for a couple of weeks. All I could say was I have never tried anything like this before. My energy levels went through the roof, its like red bull in a pill but without all the nasty side effects of jittering and crashing and stuff. My appetite was virtually nonexistent throughout the day and I could feel my body heat up minutes after taking these pills. I take one in the morning, wait about 30-40 minutes, then eat. I notice a slight increase in body temperature, but not to the point where I am sweating. Second dosing about 6-8 hours later consisting of 1 capsule has same efffect ... seems like second dose sometimes causes me to sweat ... but for walking around all day at work and sweating, burning calories that's what I'm all about! Also good for focus. Clean energy ... didn't make me feel like I wanted to jump out of my skin or cause me to be jittery / anxious. Most fat burners are known for making you feel that way ... not this one! At the time I had a broken ankle and could not run or do much of any type of exercise. During the first two weeks I saw a loss of 9 pounds. I started to train again on 2/8/10. As of 3/1/10 My waist size has dropped from 50 inches back in January to 41 inches now. I have dropped 20 plus pounds. This is the first thermogenic that I have been able to take. All the others I have tried all caused me issues. I have had ZERO side effects with this product. I recommend anyone who wants to lose weight should give OEP a try it works. Stim effect not as noticable as some say but I think that's a good thing. As far as fat burning goes, I have noticed some weight loss but this could be due to the loss of appetite. Heat is up, though sometimes I get the jitters or anxieties. Overall, I would say it is better than most stim products and it is only in a tiny little purple pill. Keep it up USP. I am on day 3 and let me tell you, it really kicked in. For one, you can totally forget about your appetite. It will be gone. You do have to force yourself to eat and you really don't feel like eating. Great energy and you will want to get up and do something. Now, I am also taking NP's CLA too to conquer fat with a one, two punch! I did forget to weigh myself before using but I can honestly say that this stuff is working. I am by no means obese. I do wear 34" pants and weigh probably around 215 and looking to get close to 200lbs. SYNERGY!!! thats all i can say. a recommended dose is 2 in the AM and 1 in the PM, but 2 pills a day with 6-8 hours separation is enough! one bottle alone will last 45 days. And this stuff is still potent, and ultra effective even at 2 pills a day. This is my favorite fat burner by far! If you're gonna want something to shred the fat and keep your mind at high alert with great crisp energy this is what you want.. I'm not huge on losing weight but since I got a bottle for free I figured I'd try it out.. after 4 weeks I dropped from 240 to 220 and the closest I ive ever been to a 6 pack.. I'm sure if I kept going ide have made it to the 6 pack but I didnt wanna go under 220.. Give this a try and stack with whichever anabolic you want. (Just to help maintain strength) I did choose Prime but that's b/c I get great results from it, but choose what works best.. You wont regret trying it.. Concentration was through the roof and did not have any jitters what-so-ever. Went down about 2 lbs in a week without any change in diet. Noticed a reduction in visible fat around my waist, six pack here I come! Am stacking this with Anabolic Pump, PowerFULL, and on workout days am skipping the second dose in the afternoon and switching in Jacked. Great compliment to my arsenal. |
