Smell and taste = not good By: AustinReview posted on: Wed Aug 18 12:27:06 -0400 2010 I absolutely love Scivation' Xtend. It tastes freakin great and works. I thought I'd give this vasocharge a try since its cheap. I have to say that based off the smell that eminates out of the shaker bottle when you first open the cap is almost alarming. But I'm used to crappy tasting/smelling supplements, so I gulp it down with bitter beer face for a minute afterwards. As for performance, it seems ok. I don't get nauseous as I sometimes do from NOS type preworkouts. Just don't expect it to blow the doors off of NOShotgun or even jack3d. It feels similar to jack3d actually. I just finished up my no shotgun mhf-1 and started the vasocharge and I did not feel much from it. The shotgun I was getting some very nice pumps and strength but when I started the vaso I didn't get much of anything. I'm gonna up tp 3 scoops and an extra scoop of creatine to see how that goes. It's very unapetizing to say the least. Another thing that bothers me about pre-workouts is some don't dissolve very well and this one didn't either. Very clumpy and gritty. Felt the beta-alanine and some pump so once I got it in my body it worked ok, but it's a struggle to get it down and I don't like to hassle with my supplments. Tried quite a few pre's and this one was near the bottom for me. Could be a bit past shelf date so maybe that's why it so clumpy and on sale, but it didn't work great enough for me to force feed myself. the best By: kyleReview posted on: Thu Mar 12 00:57:10 -0400 2009 this stuff is awesome. i usually get jittery and dont feel good from pre workout supps, but this stuff is awesome. Honestly i feel like superman when I'm working out lol. Pumps are sick, energy and motivation is through the roof. This helps me squeeze out a couple extra reps and also hit the heavy bag harder. I went ahead and stocked up - try this stuff. THE BEST PUMP pre workout! I wasn't expecting much from this product and the only reason I bought it was the deal with Xtend. Wow, was I wrong. I'd recommend it to anybody. I will say that I haven't tried NO-Xplode, or JP-8, so I can't speak on how this product compares to those. I mixed it with Xtend and the same results were amplified. Was able to train way past the pain zone and could even overtrain. Also used the 2 products in the same mix as a pwo drink. Either way I like this combination and will stick with it. |
