This product is great pre and post workout but can also be added to musclemilk or regular protein powder to make a high calorie MRP. Think about it if you take ten scoops of this throughout the day thats 300g of complex carbs added to your diet 1200 calories of sugar free carbs! With this stuff you decide the amount of cals in each shake, remember the body only uses so much protein its up to carbs and fat to determine weight gain or loss WMS is essential. This product helps me get the carbs I need to meet my macronutrient ratios. Also, it gives me great energy when I take a scoop preworkout and a scoop intraworkout. I even use it immediately after workout to speed recovery. I believe waxy maize to be one of the most deserving but least talked about supplements out there today. It is a staple for me. WMS is pretty much the same wherever you buy but I personally use carbslam just cause it works for me and I see no reason to change a good thing. Great taste and texture. It even softens up the taste of other very strongly flavored powders. Carb Slam is a staple for me and at 24 bucks for 6lbs, very very affordable. Remember, the whole point of a shake it to replenish and recover, which this product does. You will notice faster recoverty if anything. Take this, CEE and 5 grams of L-Leucine with your post workout shake and tell me if you notice the difference or not after a month. Clarification for Dr. Idiot above By: ChrisReview posted on: Tue Nov 13 16:55:14 -0500 2007 I never said that this product put slabs of beef on me, and neither did the other guy; I simply stated that I was told I LOOKED huge within 15 minutes or so of consumption, thus implying that it gave me a greater post-workout pump than dextrose, white bread or white rice, or any other source of simple carbs I have used in the past. That pump obviously is a result of the speed and efficiency with which waxy maize restores muscle glycogen. My original comments and rating stand. Don't be so quick to find folly in what others say. Sometimes you just end up making yourself look like an ass. I have found the holy grail of pre-work out pump stimulators. Plus it uploads all other supp's faster, by jamming them into your bloodstream, bypassing digestion! Take with cratine ethyl ester and hold on! Pre-measured scoop and mixes like a dream . . . this will stick as my post-workout carb source |
