The dude who said it is like eating a grapefruit peel was EXACTLY right in my opinion. I just put some sweet grapefruite juice in my mouth, popped 1/4 tsp, washed it down with more sweet grapefruit juice, and a few seconds later the bitter taste is just a memory. I have to disagree with the dude who said the taste lingers for awhile. I feel like it is gone as soon as you eat something. I also like the idea of not capping, because if you have to take a cap 15 min before eating, you should be able to get away with 5-10 min for the powder (so I am not sitting around waiting for breakfast for 15 min...well worth the taste). If you have used any bulk concentrated cissus powder (I have used the UPS and Primaforce cissus powders), this should be no problem for you. I had stopped using it for 6-8 weeks, and although my diet wasnt the best i did gain 6-8 lbs during that time frame. I have been back on it for almost 2 weeks and with my diet in check i have lost about 3 pounds, am leaner and have more energy than before. Also since i am trying to cut down a little bit more, i have had a nice little side effect of my appetite not being all to high, it might be because this stuff is so awful, i still take it without capping. I cannot compare to other similar products, but this is very effective and by far the cheapest. I am anticipating my 150g to last at the very least 3 months and probaly more. I would have to back everyone else that says this tastes awful though. I have never felt the need to cap any powders before, and believe me I have taken some vile tasting powder/water concoctions. That being said, 1/4 teaspoon of YG in a full shaker is still nearly intolerable with an aftertaste that will linger for hours. No amount of brushing or mouthwash will rid you of this either. Another thing I haven't seen anyone comment on: this stuff stains bad. Once you are done capping (which I would say is a must with this product) immediately clean your countertop or work area. As to the peculiar intestinal problems some suffer: if you read up on berberine you will notice that while it has interesting nutrient shuttling properties in the upper GI tract, it has the opposite effect in the lower GI tract. Not nescessarily bad, but you will likely suffer a little the first couple days while your body adjusts. Real men dont cap! I personally recommend you take this with milk, and I personally dare you or one of your friends to take this sublingually as this potent concoction is more than you can handle. Take it on an empty stomach, wait 15 minutes, and you are HUNGRY. Scarf down a load of protein with ~50g of complex carbs and you get an unbelievable pump. Post workout it helps push the carbs/protein into your muscles where you need it the most. Using YG I've lost a good inch off my waste line in the first 2 weeks. This isn't water loss either as I've been sucking down 1-1.5 gallons of water a day for months now. Anyways, it may taste bad, but it works REALLY well. Beautiful cutting agent / strength preserver. |
