The fat ingredients are quality as well, making up a little of my good fat intake for the day. And it contains very little sugar, which is perfect for me, as even the smallest amount of sugar (whatever it is from) is enough to have me bouncing off the walls and then severely crashing once the sugar high has worn off. Added vitamins and minerals top it off. Smell: 10/10. Hmmmmm...Chocolate. I LOVE chocolate... Taste: 10/10. MyoFusion in Double Chocolate tastes like milo (which is one of the few drinks that I will have outside of water and herbal tea). The chocolate taste was perfect: Not too watery and not sweet (I don't like sweet chocolate). To date MyoFusion is the second best brand of protein that I have used re taste, with the Double Chocolate Flavour being almost perfection. Mixability: 10/10. My protein shakes consist of 300-500ml of water with the protein powder of choice mixed with. MyoFusion mixes quickly and easily, leaving no powder clumps and hardly any bubbles on top (and any that there were quickly went). Texture: 9/10. MyoFusion in Double Chocolate has a thick, creamy texture (awesome, considering I only mixed it with water), almost like drinking a smoothie, or something mixed with milk. Filling, as well. Overall: 9.6/10. I have just found the primary protein powder that I am going to be using whilst in the US. Would I use it again? Yes. Would I recommend? Yes. Vincent (reviewer number 1) is an idiot. Maybe a little bit too sweet for me with milk. Perfect for water I'd say. My fav powders are from ALargeNutrition, but their stuff is too expensive to justify the somewhat better taste. I would say I enjoy them equally. Myofusion is just a little sweeter. My new FAV protein. Ordered 10 lbs. Now its on sale, so I ordered another 20 lbs. Looks like an excellent blend protein, even thought they won't disclose the percentages of whey/egg/milk isolate. I was debating between Myofusion and Dymatize. Well Dymatize didn't respond to my email requesting a sample, guess they lost my business. Gaspari sent me samples which I enjoyed. They won my business. myofusion ? I can feel that I'm anabolic for at least 3 hours, unlike normal whey or ordinary blends. Good all around protein.. after workout, between meal, this hit the spot. Price is right too. Solid product. Choco mint By: AdamReview posted on: Mon Dec 13 19:25:36 -0500 2010 Wish I'd read more reviews before I bought this, I've tried various protein blends before and never run into any that purposely mix to have the consistency of a raw egg. Add that the chocolate mint is a kind of grayish color and it's pretty nasty. I guess the flavor is ok, but choking down raw egg sludge is not. I don't put much on taste, even if something tastes nasty you can just chug it down, but this stuff mixes into a glop like warm hot fudge or raw egg so chugging is not an option. So if you plan to just sip your protein slowly and are okay with occasional gastrointestinal distress, go for this. But if you just want to get your protein in your body when you need it, get something else. In a blender bottle it barely mixes, and to top it off, it is very rough on those of us who are lactose intolerant. There are many more blends out there that are far superior and in the same price range. Even on sale, I would not purchase again. Severely disappointed. Amazing! Mixed w/ milk and it is like a real milkshake. Definitely would recommend if you want to look forward in enjoying your protein supplement as well as getting results. I read the other reviews and have no clue how anyone can bad mouth this product. 5 stars! chocolate PB tastes like Poo! I couldnt wait since i have never tried a chocolate PB protein before, well just like the title says... It tastes horrible. Will not buy again. Ill stick to nutrapro. It mixes up real think which I like. The Chocolate Peanut butter on the other hand mixes thin and doesn't taste like either chocolate or peanut butter! Great price though for what you get! The vanilla isn't as great. While we aren't given the ratio of WPC/WPI to Egg/Milk Protein, it's still good value for your money. Will definitely be picking up again. |
