ON 100% can't compare to taste , Dymatize also has 40mg of digestive enzymes and ON 100% has 25 mg per scoop. The only whey I tried that tastes Good in plain water! Cafe mocha is unreal I never get bored of the taste. Tastes great in water , milk , water +Oats!!! I really liked cafe' mocha , chocolate mint, and chocolate, not so much the berry (chemical taste) or butter toffee (too sweet and it got old too fast) Not bad but.... I think ON's 100% whey tastes slightly better, but this is a good protein for the money if you're on a smaller budget. I'll be trying other flavors when this one is done. Actually I am looking for a product that uses Aspartame, Sucralose, and Acesulfame K. Lets get those tumors a rollin! Acesulfame K Acesulfame Potassium (K) was approved for use by the FDA as a safe artificial sweetener in July, l988. It is a derivative of acetoacetic acid. Unfortunately, several potential problems associated with the use of acesulfame have been raised. They are based largely on animal studies since testing on humans remains limited. The findings showed the following: Acesulfame K stimulates insulin secretion in a dose dependent fashion thereby possibly aggravating reactive hypoglycemia ("low blood sugar attacks"). Acesulfame K apparently produced lung tumors, breast tumors, rare types of tumors of other organs (such as the thymus gland), several forms of leukemia and chronic respiratory disease in several rodent studies, even when less than maximum doses were given. According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest, it was petitioned on August 29, l988 for a stay of approval by the FDA because of "significant doubt" about its safety. I've tried lots of different ones but this is the one I always buy now. Don't get fooled by overpriced over hyped whey. Its just whey. Buy what tastes good and has a good price. Mixability is really good, flavor is excellent, and the ingredient profile is spot on for what I was looking for. Price per serving value is also WAY up there. You've got a new customer here! I usually go with ON, but after tasting this stuff I probably won't ever go back. Simply delicious. Taste kinda reminds me of the Jamocha Milkshake from Arby's (and I love my jamocha shakes :D). It's definitely a nice change from the run of the mill vanilla or chocolate. I've tried many whey protein powders but this one is definately the best tasting one I've tried so far. I am going to try butter toffee next. I highly recommend this product to anyone. Best Blend out there By: FaresReview posted on: Tue Nov 13 16:54:49 -0500 2007 Elite whey is much better than the loved optimum nutrition 100% whey for many reason: Tastes a lot better with strong flavouring unlike ON 100% whey( tastes great with water,milk and/or oats) , has less cholestrol per serving ( a lot less) , and has almost double the amount of digestive enzymes which will help digesting the protein and minimize gas. For all those reasons and the fact that cafe' mocha is unreal in flavour this get my vote for the best quality for the price By: JesseReview posted on: Tue Nov 13 16:54:42 -0500 2007 Excellent mixability and flavor! I've got the Cafe Mocha, and I can't believe how good it is, even in water. What a way to start the day. Now I just wish the coffee flavoring had caffeine, too! |
